This wine is made by 100% Nebbiolo, a grape variety with strong tannins and disticntive scent.
Grapes comes from a selected part of Sanche cru in Vezza d'Alba.

Sanche vineyards (Vezza d'Alba) are a South and South-west ones.
Soil is very sandy
The grape-harvest is performed manually with the traditional 20 kg red-boxes.
Time is in late September or beginning October, depending on the Season.
Spontaneous fermentation in wood traditional maceration with submerged-cap for 20-25 days.
Malolattic fermentation in wood for the whole amount. About 17 months-aging in french oak used barrels and tonneaux
Large filtration technique
and low sulphur level
Ruby red colour with orange highlights with ageing.
Fresh bouquet with hints of fruit and flowers. Soft flavour, rightly tannic, persistent and well balanced.
Store the bottle in horizontal position and in a fresh room (below 20°C).
Serve it at 16-18 °C
Immediately valuable,
it can be cellared for over 20 years
